About

Barn Finds

Welcome to our barn finds website. We have a trove of vintage machinery to be discovered and sold be it agricultural, industrial or domestic. Even we don't fully know yet what we have in our barns.

We hope to show that we have a special interest and a love for vintage tractors and agricultural machinery. We have Massey Harris, I. H. Farmall cubs, Someca and associated implements. binders, threshers, ploughs etc.

Many of these are usable or are suitable for restoration.  We also have many used spares.

For the heavy horse enthusiast there are also some horse drawn implements.

Other items in the barns are a variety of older motorbikes, cars, vans and commercial vehicles both complete and in various states. In addition, there are literally tons of furniture and other vintage collectables waiting to be restored, up-scaled or integrated into something else.

IS IT WORTH SAVING OR WILL IT SAVE ANOTHER?

We are trying to catch up with our stock and put items online. This website will have more on display in the coming weeks and months. If you have a requirement for something interesting and/or specific, please give us a call on 00 44 (0) 7770 756 760 or fill in our form on this page.

The Barns

Our barns are pretty massive by most classic barn standards both in area and height. The task of photographing and listing everything is quite time consuming, but we will try and keep it fresh

We hope our barn finds will appeal not only to vintage tractor and motor vehicle enthusiasts, but to all types of other fervent mechanics or designers where agricultural, other equipment, automobilia and antiques could be of use to collectors, restorers or as retail display items

Our vehicles, machinery and memorabilia has come from all over Europe and we are always acquiring more. It is a healthy obsession that has got us to where we are now. The aim is always to have an eye for the good stuff and find a use or a good home for it.

We hope you can always find something a little out of the ordinary here.

How did the barns get full?

Years ago on a trip to our French village, I saw a gypsy scrap truck coming out of a farm entrance, on the back was a little red tractor. It looked far too good to be scrapped, so I stopped them and with almost no French language skills was able to buy it.

What I bought that day was an ordinary run of the mill Massey Harris Pony, and with little effort it was soon running and driving round the yard. it very quickly found a new home.

That was the start of a slippery slope, I had endless space in the barns, So of I went looking for tractors, some have stayed and some have left,

The Massey Harris Pony in all it’s variations has been the main focus, but the horizons have broadened  and the barns have filled.
